What Is KEBS PVoC?

The Kenya Bureau of Standards Pre-Export Verification of Conformity (PVoC) is a mandatory inspection programme for used vehicles exported to Kenya. It confirms the vehicle meets Kenyan import standards before departure from Japan.

How VLLDOIT Handles KEBS

We coordinate KEBS inspection at our Japan yard before export. The inspection covers age compliance, odometer verification, and basic roadworthiness. A valid PVoC certificate is included in your export documentation package.

Common Rejection Reasons

Vehicles are most commonly rejected for exceeding the 8-year age limit, odometer tampering flags, or structural damage noted on the auction sheet. We pre-screen all stock to minimise clearance delays at Mombasa Port.
